Financial Assistance for College Education

About F.A.C.E.

F. A. C. E. Is an acronym for Financial Assistance for College Education. It is almost unbelievable, that 25 years have passed by. It’s been 25 years since Fifty Plus and Bridging was founded in 1998 by Terrilyene Watson Nunez. Miss Nunez, a retired, professional woman, committed and dedicated to bridging the generation gap by providing academic scholarship and donation to Palm Bay deserving youths. She was eagerly joined by 11 other professional women , making an even dozen.

Although a change of name, and even a change of faces, our goals remain the same, the purpose and the mission remain intact. Going forward F.A.C.E. will continue to reach out to the community, holding high the banner of higher education. Perseverance, Creativity, Resourcefulness and Resilience are our goals.

As Terrilyene Nunez once said. “We are passing through the valley, but blessings and good fortune, have kept us intact, and our code of ethics continues to be service, simplicity, sincerity, and civility.” As you know, we firmly believe that in educating the youth we help to build a better America. Our emphasis, therefore, is focus on education, hence the name of our organization, “Financial Assistance for College Education”.

In conclusion I am asking you all to join us in our worthwhile mission to continue to provide Financial Assistance for College Education to our leaders of tomorrow.
